Why Choose Custom Furniture?
Your home deserves furniture that is as distinctive as you are and with pieces that feel like they belong there—not pieces chosen simply because they were the closest fit. Custom furniture gives you the freedom to create something made specifically for your space, needs, and personal style. From the dimensions and wood species to the design details, joinery, and finish, every element can be thoughtfully considered to create a piece that is truly your own.
At Spruce Place Woodcraft, we combine carefully selected furniture-grade hardwoods, traditional woodworking techniques, and meticulous craftsmanship to build furniture meant to last for generations. We don’t simply build furniture—we create heirlooms that become part of your home, your story, and your family’s heritage.
Built with Care. Meant to Last.
Each piece is carefully crafted by hand, allowing for superior attention to detail, stronger joinery, and thoughtful design choices that enhance both beauty and durability.
Handmade furniture is created to last generations, developing character and meaning over time. Built with intention, skill, and respect for materials-qualities mass production simply cannot replicate.

Client Testimonials
The cart is absolutely amazing! It is so much easier to manage than the heavy-duty, generic metal stands we’ve used in the past. The students immediately took extra pride and care with it, and it even brought a delightful smell of fresh wood into the classroom for weeks after it was delivered. That said, even the beautiful scent of wood can’t quite compete with the smell of a room full of fifth graders 😊
I would highly recommend Spruce Place Heritage Woodcraft to any of my friends or family. The work was completed in a timely manner, with outstanding quality and craftsmanship, all at a very competitive price. This piece has truly made a difference in our classroom.
